Dahlia M. Garcia

Dahlia was the co-owner of the Exxon off the expressway with her first husband Juan Garcia Jr. for 25 years. She was also the president of the Chamber of San Benito in the late 1990s, then she went on to work for the Cameron County Irrigation District until she retired.

After she retired, she enjoyed spending time with her family, baking for them, and dancing when she could. On her free time, you could find her shopping or in the garden listening to music and enjoying the outside air.

Dahlia will be forever missed and loved by all her family and friends.

Dahlia is survived by her husband, Alfonso Delgadillo; her sons, Daniel Garcia (Leydi), Juan Garcia (Julie), and Joel Garcia; her grandchildren, Jasmine Garcia, Isaiah Garcia, Daniela Garcia, Dana Garcia and, Brisa Jimenez.

Dahlia was preceded in death by her parents, San Benito and Lilly Montalvo and her brothers, San Benito Montalvo Jr. and Gilbert Montalvo.

A Visitation for Dahlia will be held Sunday, October 6, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Mont Meta with a Rosary at 7 PM.

A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, October 7, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St Benedict Catholic Church, 351 S Bowie St, San Benito, TX 78586. followed by burial to follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
