My Wife Carmen and I first met Yvonne about 7 years ago at a meet and greet meeting.   We were transferring our son Stephen to her foster home.  Within minutes we knew it was the right move.   Her loving personality and enthusiasm assured us that Stephen would be happy there and, more important, would grow in her home environment.  We were not wrong.   Her passing leaves a void in our son's and our heart.   She will be dearly missed.

I know that you loved dancing unto the Lord and now I know that you are dancing with our Lord. I thank God for allowing me to have great fond memories with you. You will truly be missed. I love you Sister Yvonne…

This is our family and Yvonne and Roger’s house.  Always felt the warm welcome from Yvonne whenever we were graciously included in family functions. Yvonne’s openness and pure joy of the Lord to share in His Word was always a true pleasure. Yvonne, a true child of God has received His loving embrace and welcomed into heaven no doubt!

Today, as I reflect on the life of our dear Yvonne, we are reminded not only of her boundless compassion and charity but also of her refreshing honesty and unwavering support.

Yvonne had a gift for cutting through the noise and speaking truthfully from the heart. She never minced words but offered her guidance and wisdom with sincerity and love. Despite her direct approach, her presence was always a source of comfort and reassurance.

To Roger and family, I extend my deepest sympathies and gratitude for sharing Yvonne's remarkable spirit with us. Her legacy of honesty and compassion will forever be cherished and remembered.

Though Yvonne may no longer walk beside us, her memory and the impact of her love will continue to guide and inspire us.

She is survived by her loving husband, Roger Moreno; children, Stephen (April) Moreno, Sarah (Michael) Cobb and Noah Moreno; grandchildren, Ava Lyn Cobb and Luka Sebastian Moreno; mother-in-law, Hortense Moreno; father-in-law, Jimmie Moreno; also, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.


She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Lou Vallejo; grandmother, Maria San Miguel and grandfather, Alfredo San Miguel.
