Yolanda Herrera Valadez

Yolanda Herrera Valadez born on October 3, 1946 in San Antonio TX went to be with the Lord on June 15, 2013 at the age of 66. She was a devoted member of St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church and the Guadalupanas Society. She loved sewing, cooking and enjoyed the beauty of doves. She is preceded in death by her son, Juan H. Valadez, Jr. and her brother, Jose Carlos Herrera. She is survived by husband, Juan R. Valadez, Sr.; children, Diana Perez (Jose Zurita); Olga Alvarado (Mariscio); Santiago Valadez (Isabel), Aurora Valadez, Steven Valadez (Margie), and Leticia Valadez; 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; brother, Daniel R. Herrera; also numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday June 18, 2013 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. The Visitation will continue from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday June 19, 2013 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A procession will depart from the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Thursday June 20, 2013 for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery NO.2.
