Yolanda Sanchez Garcia, born on November 19, 1946 in San Antonio, TX was called to be with our Lord on August 28, 2017 at the age of 70. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and The Guadalupana Society. She enjoyed arts and crafts and crossword puzzles. She was an avid Spurs Fan. She is survived by her husband, Joe P. Garcia; daughter, Santa Garcia Reyes and husband, Refugio; son, Joe Garcia III; granddaughter, Margarita Herrera; sister, Santa G. Rivera; brothers, Valerio Garcia Jr. and Benjamin Garcia; also, numerous nieces, nephews and god children. The Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The Procession will depart from the funeral home on Friday, September 8, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at Our Lady Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1321 El Paso St. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery No.2.
