William Adam Valdez

William joined the Army at the age of 17 and proudly served his country in Vietnam where he reached the rank of Staff Sargent. He then joined his brother and father in the family construction business, where he served as co-owner of Greg Construction Company for 44 years. William always put God and put family first throughout his life. He enjoyed taking long rides into the country with his family and showing them all the construction jobs he had completed. His family is proud of what he has accomplished and the legacy he left behind. We love you Dad/Grandpa!

He is preceded in death by his parents, Gregorio and Benita Valdez; siblings, Robert Valdez, Victor Valdez, and Gregorio Valdez.

He is survived by his wife, Engrace Valdez; children, Richard (Gabrielle) and Andrew (Michelle) Valdez; grandchildren, Audrey, Elisabel, Andrew and Giuliana Valdez; siblings, Maria (Robert) Ramirez, Antonia Lopez, Richard (Patricia) Valdez and Rita Houissini; also, numerous nephews and nieces. Visitation 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd., with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The Procession will depart from the funeral home Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. for a 9:30 a.m. Mass at St. Jude Catholic Church, 130 S. San Augustine Ave., San Antonio, TX 78237.

Interment Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd., San Antonio, TX 78209.
