William Thomas Fore age 77 of Bulverde Texas, better known as Tom to his family and friends, went home to be with his Lord on November 4, 2020. Tom was surrounded by his loving family at the time of his death.
Tom is survived by the love of his life Susan Fore of 27 years. Their relationship was envied by all who had the opportunity to know them. He is also survived by his daughter TiffanyDawn Fore, grandchildren Chandler Victoria Fore, Trevor Michael Buterbaugh, Shelby Taylor Buterbaugh; stepson Ronald Ray Hulett, Jr., and wife DeAnne Renee Hulett and their two children Hailey Raelynn and Ryleigh Rae Hulett.
Tom was born on February 1, 1943 in San Antonio, Texas to William Alex Fore and Evelyn Addie Bock. He attended and graduated from Edison High School in 1961. After high school, Tom then enlisted in the Navy and served his country until his discharge in 1964.
During this time, Tom married Carol Fore and together they had two children William T. "Trey" Fore Jr. and Tiffany Dawn Fore. Tom and Carol were married for 31 years.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents William A. Fore, Evelyn Addie Johnson, sister Betty Jo Cox, and his son William T. "Trey" Fore, Jr.
Always a hard and conscientious worker, Tom began his work career as a tool and die maker, then went on to work for Braniff International as an agent and from there he moved to Equifax as an investigator. However, because Tom always loved classic cars and hot rods, Dee Howard hired Tom to personally restore his classic cars. He was in love with this opportunity.
With Tom's artistic talent and carpentry skills, Tom entered the construction business and opened his own company, "Tom Fore Restorations." Tom was still hard at work upon his death.
Tom's kind heart for his friends and family was deep, however, his dog Bob had a special place in his heart. Susan recalls many times seeing Tom resting in the evenings in his recliner with Bob sitting in his lap. Tom would be enjoying his Glen Levit Scotch while reading his emails and sharing his hot rod magazines with Bob. Soon both were asleep ... Tom snoring and Bob on his back with all four legs in the air. These are special memories never to be forgotten.
Celebration for Tom's life will be at Sunset Funeral Home on Austin Hwy on November 6, 2021 at 2:00 in the afternoon.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Tom's name to Bulverde Humane Society, 3563 Kingsnake, Bulverde, TX 78163.
