Wendy Perez

Wendy Perez, of San Antonio, Texas passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2023. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband Samuel M. Perez; children Samantha Perez, Joel Perez, Valerie Perez, and John Perez; and grandchildren Reign and Royce Alvarado.

Wendy had a career with the San Antonio Spurs for over 15 years before becoming an H-E-B partner later in life. She worked hard in her career while working equally as hard raising her four children. She put everyone before herself and was the #1 supporter for her children and grandchildren.

Wendy enjoyed the simple things in life, spending time with family and watching her soaps. She was a selfless person who enjoyed socializing with everyone. More than a great friend and coworker, many people also adopted her as "Mom", a testament to the love she showed to those around her. Wendy was a giver, often donating to law enforcement and first responder causes. She was humble and a devoted believer in God. Her soul was too good for her body and the Lord called her home. Wendy will be remembered by all who knew her and she will be greatly missed.

A celebration of life for Wendy will be held Thursday, August 24, 2023 at 6:00 PM at Sunset North Funeral Home, 910 N Loop 1604 E, San Antonio, Texas 78232.
