Master Sergeant Victor G. Valadez, U.S.A.F. (Ret.) of San Antonio, Texas. Age 84, born in Falls City, Texas, November 18, 1930 died November 15, 2015. Proceeded in death by parents Juan and Josefa, Brothers Luis Valadez, Alberto Garcia, Grandson Everardo Trevino and Great Granddaughter Chasity Campos. Survived by wife Lucy of 46 years, son Victor Jr.(wife Amy Lea), daughters Mary Bolado (husband Ralph), Margaret Trevino (husband Armando deceased), Grace Pena (Husband Ben) and Erica Valadez. 12 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great-Great Granddaughter Coraline.
Life member of St. Leonard’s Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council 7808 over 25 years. Military service; serving in Korea 1954 – 1955, Johnston Island 1962 Pacific Nuclear Test Service with DASA Scientific Organization. Served in Germany 1966-1967, Headquarters USAF Europe. Seventh descendent of Joseph Antonio Perez from Canary Islands arriving in San Antonio, March, 1731. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home on Friday, November 27, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. for a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at St. Leonard’s Catholic Church with Interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
