Victor M Mendoza

Victor Mendoza of San Antonio, Texas passed away on his birthday July 10th, 2023 at the age of 59. He was born in Walla Walla, Washington on July 10th 1964 .

He lived most of his life in San Antonio, Texas and worked nearly 40 years in the auto paint and autobody repair industry. He was a sports enthusiast and was an avid fan of the San Antonio Spurs and the Dallas Cowboys. He was known for his incredible knowledge of sports trivia and statistics. He was a great story teller with an infectious laugh. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father Salvador Mendoza, his grandparents Salvador and Olivia Mendoza and Enrique and Trinidad Galvan.

He is survived by his mother Elsa Lucila Escamilla and Ernest Escamilla, his brother Eddie Mendoza (Mary Grace), sisters Marivel Cardenas (Edward), Lorena Mendoza Zinck (Patrick), and Cynthia Lopez (Eden). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews who loved him very much, Sarah, Stephanie, Eddie Jr. and Khenzo Mendoza, Edward Cardenas, and Marina, Sofia and Antonio Zinck.

A visitation for Victor will be held Monday, July 17, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, 78211 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. Family will meet at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Von Ormy, TX at 10:30 AM for a Mass of Resurrection to be Celebrated at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Mission Burial Park South.
