Velia Perez

Velia Perez born on August 16, 1929 in Agujita, Coahuila, Mexico was called to be with the Lord on May 30, 2014 at the age of 84. She was a long time member of the St. Timothy Altar Society. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mariano Valadez and Aurora Flota De Valadez; husband, Benito E. Perez. Mrs. Perez is survived by her daughters, Martha Hernandez (Jesse), Argelia Garcia (Armando) and Bertha Villela (Jesus); grandchildren; Veronica Perez (Gerald), Sofia Nelson (John), Olivia Rios (John), Jesus P. Villela (Jennifer) and Elizabeth Garcia; great grandchildren; Emily, Julia and Layla Perez, Joshua, Christopher and Samuel Rios, Danny Nelson; siblings, Olga Rodriguez, Ramiro Valadez (Teresa) and Enriqueta Carreon (Francisco); aunt, Chita Salomon; also, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. A Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday June 3, 2014 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Procession will depart from the funeral home on Wednesday June 4, 2014 at 8:30a.m. for a 9:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Timothy Catholic Church. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery No.3. Arrangements under the direction of Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, San Antonio, TX.
