Van Cedric Garcia

Van Cedric Garcia, born on September, 25, 1961 at Ramey AFB in Puerto Rico, was called home to be with the Lord, on May 18, 2016 at the age of 54, in San Antonio, Texas. He is preceded in death by his beloved grandmother Rosey Mendeke, whom he spent much time with in Uvalde, Texas. Van a police officer with NSID, enjoyed fishing, hunting, and most of all riding his Harley motorcycle. He is survived by his loving parents Noris & Evelyn Mendeke Garcia; love of his life Diana Madrid; daughter Ashley Nicole Garcia; granddaughter Addyson Rosabell Garcia; brother Jon Eric Garcia (Sharron); Jennifer Mendeke Hendrix; nephews; Jon Garcia, Anthony Millsap and his beloved dog “Harley”. Van will be greatly missed by all his family, friends and colleagues.
