Valentino Ramos, Jr., proud veteran of the U.S. Army, beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather, respected Deacon, and mentor. Passed away on January 5, 2021, at the age of 79. He was born October 13, 1941 to Valentin and Irene Ramos in Floresville, Texas.
Valentino spread the way and word of the Lord for many years as a Deacon for his beloved church’s Mighty Fortress and Central Baptist Church. Sharing his unwavering faith with all those he encountered. He enjoyed spending time with family, watching his western shows, and working in his garage. Valentino will be remembered for his great personality, willingness to lend a helping hand, and many jokes he shared along the years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Valentin, and Irene Ramos; son: Valentin Ramos III.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Baudelia Ramos; Greg (Mary) Ramos, Lisa (James) Carlson, and Tracy Ramos. Grandchildren; Naomi (Zach), Morgan, Drew, Milla, Lily. Great Grandchildren; Isaac, Ryan, Ethan, Lenah, Damascus. Brothers Alvino, and Gavino Ramos.
A visitation will be held Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with a chapel service to begin at 12:30 p.m. A procession will follow for interment at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors.
