Tsuyako Kitchen was born in Japan on March 10, 1928 to Kuraemon Uchimura and Ine Masuyama and passed away in San Antonio, TX on August 5, 2015 at the age of 87. She was the owner of a very successful restaurant outside the gates of Ft. Sam Houston for many years.
She is survived by her daughter, Mariena Hilton; son, James Kitchen; grandchildren, Rob, Vida, Mark, Robin, Douglas; great-grandchildren, Kevin, Michelle, Derek, Brett, Brogan, Milan, Jake; great-great-grandchildren, Alivia and Nolan.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 21, 2015 at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
