Carl Raymond Harris, age 87, of San Antonio, Texas went home to The Lord on February 11, 2017. He was born on September 17, 1929 in Binghamton, New York to Carl and Agnes Harris. Carl was a Retired U.S. Air Force TSGT after 25 years of dedicated service. He was a veteran of WWII, Korean War and Vietnam War. He was truly an amazing man, devoted husband and loving father. His smile was contagious and so was his laughter. Carl was known for his very talented writing skills which led to having his book published. He also had such a comforting voice, gave the best hugs and was a pro at singing karaoke-- especially Frank Sinatra's "My Way", hitting every note perfectly, you couldn't help but be moved. Whenever Carl and Judi were in the car together, he'd break into song with what was playing on the radio. They loved to laugh together. You could also find those two lovebirds on the country western dance floor. Carl was a selfless man, full of life and who loved deeply. He was truly a hero to his family.
He is survived by his wife Judi Harris; children, Louie Raymond Harris, Jessicha Harris Lunsford and husband Adrian, Melody Harris Thompson and husband Jonathan; grandchildren, Angel Marie Harris, Emelia Dorothy Harris, Louie Raymond Judilla Harris, Ariana Jewels Lunsford, Louie Cole Harris, Leah Brooke Thompson, Leyton Charles Harris and Coen David Thompson.
