Troy Max Adcox, 55, passed away on March 23, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. Born on January 3, 1970, in the same city he called home throughout his life, Troy left behind a legacy of dedication, warmth, and unwavering love for his family.
Troy built a successful career as an Executive Sales Representative with FedEx, where he worked for over 18 years across Maryland, Arizona, and Texas. His commitment to excellence was recognized in 2020 when he received the prestigious Five Star Award for outstanding performance—a testament to his professionalism and drive.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Troy’s greatest pride and joy came from his role as a devoted husband and father. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Lizz Adcox; his son, Zachary Adcox; and his daughters, Sierra Diana and Malia Adcox. He also leaves behind his mother, Maxie Bailey; and sister, April Adcox.
Troy’s life was enriched by the simple joys that brought people together. He had a passion for cooking and entertaining family and friends—his kitchen often filled with laughter and the aroma of shared meals. A true sports enthusiast, Troy was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Longhorns. He also enjoyed exploring new restaurants and breweries, always eager to discover new flavors and experiences. Perhaps most dear to him was cheering on his children in their sports activities—his support unwavering from the sidelines.
He was preceded in death by his brother Mark Allen Adcox; grandparents Margie and Curtis Max Creek; and grandparents Ina and Troy Hackler.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, April 6, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Scenic Hills Lodge, located at 2028 Scenic Drive in Schertz, Texas (78108). Guests are kindly asked to inform the guard house that they are attending the Celebration of Life for Troy Adcox.
Troy Max Adcox will be remembered for the love he gave so freely to those around him. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
