Trinidad T. Lopez

Trinidad T. Lopez entered eternal rest in San Antonio,Texas on January 12, 2017 at the age of 88. Born in Dallas, Texas on August 28, 1928 to Anastacio and Geronima Trujillo; she now reunites with her parents, husband of over 65 years, Ernest Lopez, and children: Yvette, Roger, and Ernest Lopez. She is survived by her daughters Yvonne (Walter) Caldera and Margaret Alaniz; grandchildren: Selena Caldera, Keith (Melissa) Alaniz, Andrea Alaniz (Miguel Simoes), Yvette Alaniz, Jessica Alaniz; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Trinidad was a warm and gentle hearted woman who lived by faith and generosity. She enjoyed being in the presence of her family, but her most memorable times were spent with her grandchildren. The family will be receiving guests at Roy Akers funeral home, 515 North Main Avenue, on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A procession will depart the funeral home on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 9:15 a.m. to Celebrate a 10:00 a.m. Mass at Christ the King Catholic Church, 2623 Perez St. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery II.
