Timothy David Manning Sr., of Live Oak, Texas went to join his mother in eternal rest on May 9, 2021, Mother’s Day. Timothy was born in Jackson Michigan to Maggie Elizabeth, and Joseph Hudson Manning on December 31, 1957. In his free time he enjoyed fishing, camping and went out to the shooting range almost every Sunday. Dedicated and hardworking, he opened his own remodeling and repair shop, “Tim’s Honey Do Repairs”. He has been fixing what your honey can’t for the past 27 years!
Not only was Timothy Sr. dedicated to his work, he was also very dedicated to his family, friends and even strangers. He only wished the best for everyone he met and was willing to help you get there. He was very giving, forgiving and always was there when you needed someone; all he asked for in return for his kindness was a hello and to hear how you were doing. He lived to be a grandpa, enjoying every minute that he got with his grandkids; being able to spoil them as he could and send them home happy. A proud US Marine himself, he was involved with helping the Hill Country Young Marines by helping with what events he could.
He is survived by, his loving wife, Mary; his 3 children whom he had with former spouse Dorothy, Timothy Jr and his girlfriend Maria, Nicole and her husband Greg, and son, Bradley. He is also survived by his step children Tasha and Jonathan, his sister, Linda and her husband, Mark, and brother, Michael and wife Lara; and of course his loving grandchildren: Jordyn, Ryan, Avery, Ela, Abigail, Everett, Zion, Bodhi, Faolyn, Krystal, Randall, and Kenna, among numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was a light for others and a joy to all who knew him. He was the rock of his family. He will be deeply missed. His laugh will never be forgotten.
Visitation will be held June 6, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Home from 5- 8 PM with services to follow the next day June 7, 2021 at 9 AM once again at Sunset Funeral Home located at 1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, Texas 78218.
