Thomas Michael Salinas, loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, and cousin entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 8, 2011, at the age of 21. He was born on October 11, 1989 in San Antonio, Texas. Thomas had a lifelong love of soccer and music. He especially enjoyed playing his guitar and drums. He recently became interested in the Mayan civilization and often discussed its impact on our culture with family and friends. Thomas was loved for his generous heart and sweet nature, his compassion for other people, and his desire for everyone to be happy and to love each other.
Thomas is survived by his father, Felipe Salinas (Anne Andersen); mother, Lucy Salinas; brother, Phillip Salinas; paternal grandparents, Francisco and Graciela Salinas; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, many friends, and three much-loved pet dogs. A visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, and a Prayer Service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. that same evening at the funeral home.
