Tech. Sgt.Thomas Lancaster Pridgen III,USAF, Retired, born on September 28, 1953 to Thomas and Esther Pridgen, passed away in his sleep on September 17, 2013 after a hard fought battle with renal cancer. He graduated from John Jay High School in 1972 and soon there after joined the Air Force as a radiologist. After serving in the military for 20 years, he served the public and private industry field of radiology. Tom was a selfless and caring friend who served as a role model for all of his friends and he will be missed dearly. He is survived by his sister and brother, Susan and Edgar, his fiancee Rose De La Fuente, his three children, Adam, Matthew, Melissa, and his beloved pet Duchess. A public viewing will be held on Thursday September 19 from 6-8 p.m. located at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Rd., San Antonio, Tx, 78238. His funeral service will be held on Friday September 20 at 9:15 a.m. at the same location. The funeral service will be followed by a funeral procession to Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery where Military Honors for Tom's dedicated service will be rendered.
