Thomas Boone Maurer

Thomas Boone Maurer, age 83, went to be with the Lord on November 5, 2017 in San Antonio, TX. He was born on July 12, 1934 in San Antonio, TX to William & Allene Maurer. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be dearly missed. Boone was an avid outdoors man and if he wasn't on the lake or at the ranch you could catch him on the golf course. Boone was known for being a tough man on the outside but past his rugged exterior he truly cared for his family, friends and especially his dogs.

He was preceded in death by his children, Kathryn Lea Maurer and Thomas Boone Maurer Jr.

He is survived by wife, Donna; daughter, Karey and son-in-law Jimmy; his son, JD Littleton. Grandsons, Daniel, Steven his wife Ally, Glynn, his wife Gia - their kids Mac, Rose, Sam Wallace. Brother, Billy and his son William and his wife Marcie Maurer. Brother-in-law Bill; nephew, Howard and his wife Diane and nephew, Greg Gober.

The Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m., November 11, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Condolences may be offered at www.sunsetfuneralhomesa.com.
