Thomas Patrick Casey

Thomas Patrick Casey of Pipe Creek, TX, formerly of San Antonio, went to be with the Lord on February 23, 2015. He was born on September 30, 1948 in Harrisburg, PA. Thomas graduated from John Marshall High School in 1967 following his family’s move to San Antonio from Middletown PA. He enlisted in the Air Force shorty after graduation and was assigned to bases in Texas. Following his enlistment he had several occupations before settling on a long career with HEB Grocery Company. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas D. and Mary D. Casey, and his sisters, Mary Jane and Kathleen. He is survived by his brothers, Daniel (Deborah) of East Hanover, PA. Michael of Pipe Creek, TX, and Brian (Laurie) of Helotes,TX. He is also survived by his nieces, Kathleen (Matt) Fischer of San Antonio and Jennifer (Mike) Caranfa of Plano, TX.; nephews, Matt Casey of Burleson TX, Kevin Casey of Helotes, TX. Christopher (Shelley) of Harrisburg, PA. and Zakary Casey of East Hanover, PA. Tom was a kind and caring man who loved his family and friends as well as his dogs. He will be greatly missed and remembered by those who loved him. Visitation will be at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Helotes, 13715 Riggs Rd 78023 on Thursday, February 26, 2015 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 12:30 P.M. Friday, February 27, 2015 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Helotes with Rev. Carlos Davalos officiating.Interment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
