She was born and raised in Kansas City, MO. and received her BA at the University of Kansas City in 1938.
Mrs. Sutton was a research analyst at the War Department during WWII and later at the Pentagon.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 61 years, Col. John L. Sutton, USAF; son, Thomas J. Sutton; and brothers, John Brunner and Joseph Brunner.
Mrs. Sutton is survived by her son, John L. Sutton, Jr.; and daughter, Anne L. Sutton and husband, Maurice G. Sandy. Services will be held later in the spring.
