Dear Children, I am so sorry for your loss.  We are never prepared for our loved one to leave us.  I am so sorry that I was out of town for Terry's funeral, but my prayers and thoughts were with you and will continue to be with you. I will miss your father very much, especially his telephone calls.  Please rest assured that Diva will be taken care of and loved.  God Bless All of You.  I know your Dad would be proud of the tribute you gave him.  Your Dad always ended is telephone calls with "Promise me that you will think of me" and "I shall".

To Mike and Marlin:
First of all, my condolences to you and the rest of your family. I have not seen you or your dad since the early 1970's. I played football on the Woodridge Wolverines for 3 years with ya'll and I'll never forget that experience. Coach Theis was one tough coach but a damn good one. I have 2 boys myself and I have told them numerous stories about how hard work pays off and I always tell them about our team from 1971 when we went undefeated (6-0) and beat Cambridge 2-0 on the last play off the game when Mike Theis and Billy Meurin sacked their QB in the endzone. I remember it like it was yesterday. We only had about 13 players b/c so many people couldn't handle the practices but your dad made us all better prepared for life. He was tough but fair. Of course we did have Peter Sherwood who could really run the ball. I never knew your dad was from Boerne. I have lived in Boerne since 1995. Anyway my thoughts and prayers go out to you.
