Teresa Navarro Flores

Teresa Navarro Flores, age 89 was called to be with our Lord above on March 31, 2017 while at home in San Antonio, Texas. Teresa was born September 19, 1927 in Staples, Texas, the daughter of Refugio Navarro and Altagracia Navarro.

Teresa was preceded in death by her beloved husband Joe G. Flores, her beloved sisters, Felipa N. Pastrano, Catalina Martinez and Rafaela Juarez. Beloved son Eulogio Flores Jr. and beloved grandsons, Arturo F. Sanchez and Alfred F. Sanchez.

Teresa and Joe were united in marriage on February 12, 1947.

Teresa thoroughly enjoyed gardening and spending time outdoors tending to the many flowers she had planted around their home. She also enjoyed spending time with her children and many grandchildren.

Teresa was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church.

Teresa is survived by her sons; Ruben N. Flores, Jesse N. Flores, John N. Flores, her daughters; Irene F. Medina, Anita Flores, Maria Elena Morel, Beatrice Guajardo and Kathy Flores.

Teresa was blessed with 28 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces. Mrs. Flores was also blessed abundantly with numerous relatives and close friends.

A memorial gathering and service to celebrate Teresa's life will start with a Visitation on Tuesday April 11, 2017 at 5:00p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. 78237. Mass will be on Wednesday April 12, 2017 at 11:00a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church, 2610 Perez St, San Antonio, TX 78207. Interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery III.
