Our beloved mother Sylvia J. Spears, age 75, passed away January 7, 2012. She was born on September 18, 1936 to Cruz and Margaret Rodriguez. She is survived by her children, Stephen Spears, Cheryl (Roy) Gray, Elaine Spears, Jeffrey (Barbara) Spears, Jennifer Spears (Andre Wilson) and Tracy (Eric) Kieffer; grandchildren, Stephanie Bessant, David Graves III, and Toriano Harvey; great-grandchildren, Soleil Bessant, Layla Bessant, Destiny Graves, David Graves IV, Alexa Graves, Toriano Harvey Jr. and Latoria Harvey; sisters, Dolores Villarreal, Lydia Montoya and Idalia Beltran; brothers, Raul Rodriguez and Jesse Hernandez; numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home on Bandera road. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the ASPCA.
