Sylvia R. Medina, age 72, of San Antonio, Texas passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021. She was born in Tampico, Tamaulipas on December 28, 1948 to Soledad Navarro and Nicholas Ruiz. She was married to Eduardo M. Medina for 39 years. Sylvia worked in housekeeping and was self-employed. She had a passion for plants, flowers, novelas, dogs, and pan dulce.
She was preceded in death by her husband Eduardo M. Medina.
She is survived by her children Sylvia M. Nakasone (Artson); Eduardo R. Medina (Ronda); Patricio R. Medina. Survived by her grandchildren Jasmine Medina, April Montoya, Patrick Medina, Travis Morales, Britney Morales, Tyler Morales.
Family will be receiving guest for a visitation on Monday September 6, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237. A rosary will follow at 7:00 PM. On Tuesday September 7, 2021 at 11:15 am we will be departing Trevino Funeral home in procession to go to the funeral mass. Mass will be held at 12:00 PM at St Leonard Catholic Church, 8510 S Zarzamora St, San Antonio, TX 78224. Interment will follow at San Jose Burial Park, 8235 Mission Rd, San Antonio, TX 78214.
