Sylvia Ann Alvarez

Sylvia Ann Alvarez has gone to be with the lord on June 25, 2023. She was born on January 29,1954. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Helen Guzman, brother Tomas, son Lazaro Alvarez Jr, grand daughter Lazariah Alvarez.

She is survived by her husband Lazaro Alvarez, children Robert Hernandez (Joann), Priscilla Hernandez, Larry Alvarez ( Meredith), Joe Alvarez (Mallory), Juan Alvarez, twelve grandchildren, three great grandchildren. Siblings Thomas Guzman, William R. Guzman Jr. (Melissa) Sandra Garza (Jimmy), Dora Martinez (Yolanda) and numerous nieces and nephews.

The Visitation will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.. Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd., San Antonio, TX 78237, followed by a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.

The Procession will depart from the funeral home on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of The Resurrection at St. John Berchmans' Catholic Church, 1147 Cupples Rd., San Antonio,TX 78226. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery II, 746 Castroville Rd., San Antonio,TX 78237.
