Sylvana passed away peacefully in the afternoon of February 29, 2016 in San Antonio, TX. Sylvana was born on February 8, 1955 in Corpus Christi, TX. Sylvana was self-less towards not only members of her family, but to everyone she encountered. She was able to bestow her loving personality towards others without asking for anything in return. She possessed a soul worthy of an angel.
She was preceded in death by her father, Librado R. Velazco and husband, Javier Sandoval. Sylvana is survived by her mother, Margarita Velazco; sons Javier A. Sandoval and Andres E. Sandoval and wife, Richelle; fiancé Elias Coronado; brother, Librado Velazco, Jr.; sisters, Elizabeth Garcia (Wayne Packen), Katherine Lopez (Alfred), and Hopie Reyes (Joe), as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on March 6, 2016, at 6:00 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home and Memorial Park Chapel, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218, followed by the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral will be held at Sunset Funeral Home and Memorial Park on March 7, 2016 at 9:00 a.m.
