Mrs. Woolley was preceded in death by her husband, John Burleson Woolley. She is survived by her son, Richard Stroman Woolley and wife, Carolyn of Durham, NC; and her grandchildren, Christopher Woolley and wife, Ashley, and Timothy Woolley.
Sybil and John were active members of St. Luke's Episcopal Church since joining in 1952. She served as president of the Women of St. Luke's, as a Sunday school teacher, member of the Altar Guild, and Daughters of the King.
