She was preceded in death by her siblings, Esperanza, Olivia, Elida Rodriguez, Mario, Amanda Garcia ,Margot Armstrong, and husband Edmundo and son, Edmundo, Jr. Susie was born in Pearsall but grew up in Cotulla, Tx and spent many happy years there. After they married, her husband was stationed in San Antonio, where Susie worked at the Little Flower School cafeteria for many years to be close to her children while they attended school there. After retiring from Woolco, she did childcare in her home. She is survived by her daughter, Esperanza and son, Roberto, 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, her brother Hector Linares, and beloved nieces and nephews, Gloria, Mary Alice, Mike, Mark and David.
