Susan Marie Peña

Susan Marie Pena, born on March 5, 1963 in San Antonio, TX was called to be with our Lord on May 26, 2017 at the age of 54. She worked for the South San Independent School District for 27 years. She was an avid Spurs fan and was a season ticket holder. She loved to travel and enjoyed gambling. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She is survived by her parents, Genaro and Emma Pena; siblings, Christine Sandoval (Albert), Jerry Pena, Pat Granado (Richard), Debbie Castillo (Eddie) and Tom Pena; nephews and nieces, Enrique (Stephanie), Monique (Jonathan), Jenique, Eric, P.J. (Lauren), Kevin and Kimberly; great nieces, Carolina, Lucy, Emilia, Emily and Olivia. The Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The Procession will depart from the funeral home on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 9:15 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Joseph (So San) Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery & Mausoleum No.2. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association. The Family would like to give special thanks to AMED Hospice, caretakers, Yolanda, Juanita and Debbie Gonzales.
