Susan Brewer

San Antonio- Susan Brewer, 54, entered eternal rest on December 2, 2010. Susan was born June 22, 1956 in New York City, and made San Antonio her home for the last 34 years. She was a loving wife and mother, with a selfless passion for helping others. She worked as an administrative assistant with USAA and volunteered her time at Methodist Hospital. Susan faced many medical challenges with courage and dignity, always considering others before herself. Those whose lives she touched are truly blessed. She is survived by her beloved husband of 30 years, Joe Brewer of Helotes, her daughter, Diane Coburn, and extended family members and friends. A visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 7, 2010 with a funeral service to follow at 6:30 p.m. at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home chapel where services will conclude. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Methodist Children's Hospital at 7700 Floyd Curl Drive, San Antonio, Texas 78229 in memory of Susan Brewer.
