Stephen graduated from the University of Oklahoma, where he was a member of the Beta Theta Pi Fraternity. He was also a member of the Army Reserve and later graduated from St. Mary's School of Law.
Stephen maintained a general legal practice in San Antonio for over 35 years, specializing in real estate law. He will be remembered for imparting incredible love to those closest to him.
Stephen had a passion for learning and sharing his wealth of knowledge with others. If you met him, you became family. He was compassionate, kind, caring, brilliant, and admired by all. His morals and convictions were unwavering. He was a true inspiration, yet simple and humble, and we will all miss him tremendously.
Stephen was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Diana Reeh.
He is survived by his loving wife, Shannon; sons Dale and Timothy, and daughter, Katie; his brothers, David and wife, Carol, Michael and wife, Kay and Douglas, and their families; his mother-in-law, Barbara Altgelt; his sister-in-law, Kelly Lyssy and husband, Gregg and brothers-in-law, Perry Deering and Patrick Gilliland, as well as extended family members, Nicolasa Alvarez and Bernardo Lopez and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
