My dearest great grandmother, I will cherish all the memories we shared quietly in your room as you lay in your bed. From your many stories of all your children, grandchildren and my great grandfather (you lived a fulfilled life), your everyday beauty tips, the current gossip, but I’ll mostly miss enjoy seeing you paint your nails while I go through photos with you. I love you so much and I am grateful that you reminded me this week that you are always with me. The best guardian guardian angel to have.

Doña I love you with all my heart and I will always be proud to call you my mother and my one and only Doña. You were always strong and thank you for everything you did for the family. Most of the greatest memories are all the get togethers with the family at your house. Your place was the place everyone wanted to celebrate at because you were there. You brought everyone together even just for a moment. Love you and miss you and you will always be my Doña.

When she smiled she meant it. And she had a beautiful smile :)

Grandma my heart is broken once more. People say your in a better place resting with no more suffering. The memories I have of you are priceless from the first day I met you. The stories you'd sit and tell me from your younger years to you raising your family was so interesting to me. Mainly the one of a particular grandson that was left at a store accidentally then to find him with a cookie in his hand and a tear rolling down his cheek that was so funny to me. It was a great pleasure getting to knowing you. I'll be missing you grandma Socor.

My memories are priceless when it comes to my grandmother.
One specific memory I have is saving my dimes for my grandma . Oneday I asked her grandma why do you collect dimes? She responded mis dimitos.  My kids I have 10 kids. As she smiled at me I understood .So now whenever I find a dime where ever it may be it comforts me to think this is her way of saying Im here with you. As she would say. I am the root you are my vine. It is an honor grandma to be a part of your root.I love you so much and you will be greatly missed. Your granddaughter Velia

Grandma I love you and missing all the times I would visit you and your house...i have lots of memories that will always be cherished....thank you for taking care of me when I was growing up...I remember you would always take me to the dentist and to the doctor ...I miss the good food you would make that no one can duplicate tortillas,coffee cake, tamales

I love you more than words can say and I only have good memories of the time I spent with you and the time you and Grandpa watched over us when we were younger. Forgive me that I have always had trouble believing in a higher power but I hope that wherever you are that you are at peace and with Grandpa. I know that you will keep watching over us and I only hope for peace for the family so that you can rest and not worry. I'm sorry that I could not be there to tell you goodbye but you are in my heart and in my mind every single day. I  will love you and miss you always, Grandma.

She is survived by sons and daughters Daniel Jaramillo Jr, Carmen Chavez (Silviano "Charlie"), Marcelino Jaramillo, Diana Gomez (John), Robert Lee Jaramillo, Adelita Alvarez (Ramiro), Eva Estella Jaramillo, Rose Marie Davila (Pete); as well as numerous granddaughters, grandsons, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.




She was preceded in death by her husband Daniel; daughter Velia; son Juan Manuel; Parents George and Corine Garcia; and her sisters Jesusita, Connie, and Sulema.
