Shirley Ann Smith, age 84, passed away on June 27, 2021 in San Antonio, TX. She was born on January 17, 1937 in San Antonio. Shirley was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, John Gilbert and Anna Marie Wantzloeben; and her husband of 48 years, Randolph Smith.
She is survived by her children, Janice Hayden (Webster Wilcox), Vicki Nixon, Toby Smith (Bridget); her grandchildren, Keith Nixon (Katie), Kolby Nixon (Heather), Kendall Smith (Lauren) and Christopher Snyder ; and her great-grandchildren, Layla Nixon, Jack Clay, Luke Clay, and one on the way.
She was involved with The Eastern Star and The Daughters of The Nile.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 5th from 10:00 am -12:00 pm in the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. The Funeral Service will take place at 12:00 pm in the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. The Committal Service will follow at Sunset Memorial Park at 1:00 pm
