Shibley Traylor Azar entered the Kingdom of Heaven on January 20, 2022, following complications from heart surgery. Traylor was born on May 25, 2004, to parents Ben and Emily (Wilkinson) Azar. Affectionately known as "Tman," he was an outstanding big brother to his two younger sisters, Zizi and Abbey. He was a graduate of the San Antonio Academy, and currently, a junior at Alamo Heights High School. Tman was a hardcore fan of all things football and served as the manager of the varsity football team. He ran up and down the sidelines of every game, shouting encouragement. Blessed with a gift for playcall analysis, he often had strong opinions about how his team played and wasnt afraid to share them! Traylor was also a huge fan of the Texas Longhorns and looked forward to applying to UT Austin for college. Second only to football season, he loved summertime, where he could be found at the Azar family lake house, driving the boat and having fun with friends at Camp Longhorn. Tman was loved dearly by his family, his friends, his coaches and teammates, and will be missed by all who were blessed to know him.
Shibley Traylor Azar was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Evalyn Traylor Wilkinson.
He is survived by his parents, Ben and Emily Azar; sisters, Zizi and Abbey Azar; grandparents, Richard and Dianne Azar, Warren and Julie Wilkinson; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Memorial Service will take place on Monday, January 24, 2022, beginning at 4:15 p.m. at St. Andrews United Methodist Church, 722 Robinhood Place, San Antonio, Texas 78209. His family asks that you dress casual and wear Alamo Heights Blue and Gold colors or Burnt Orange for his beloved Texas Longhorns. Click here to watch the live-streaming.
