Sherry Kay Lander Green

Surrounded by family, Sherry Kay Green passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 9, 2015. She was born on January 10, 1944 in Graham, TX to J.D. and Hattie Vern (Allen) Lander. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Bob Lander, and wonderful and loving husband Charles William (Bill) Green.

Sherry was a spunky, funny, & loving mom, friend and wife. She would light up a room with her infectious personality and charm, and was always the life of the party.

Funeral services will be held at Sunset Funeral Home on Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas at 12:00 PM on Monday, August 17, 2015, with a visitation prior from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.

She is survived by her children, daughters, Debbie Proctor, Christi Proctor, Lori Kearns (John Tyo III), and son Charles Michael Green. Her grandchildren, Devin Ariel Meeker, James Caleb Crisler, Chelsea Jade Crisler, Toribio Aaron Martinez, Macy Teresa Martinez, Katherine Elle Kearns, John (Jack) Tyo Kearns IV; great grandchildren, Aiden David Rivera, Minka Michelle Rivera.
