Scott Carter joined his beloved grandparents in God’s embrace on March 11, 2022. Scott was born in September 1981 in San Antonio, Texas where he remained his entire life. From the time he was young, Scott loved and excelled in sports. Though he was small for his age, he fearlessly took on opponents twice his size. He played basketball, baseball, soccer and was goalie on an ice hockey team. He also had a passion for skateboarding.
His first job was hosting pizza birthday parties and was eventually baking pizzas at Jungle Jim’s Playland. This experience in the kitchen led to other cooking jobs, eventually serving as a sous chef for local country clubs. Later in life Scott found his calling as a certified electrician and he took pride in his work. This extended to side jobs of installing lighting and stereo systems in cars. Scott enjoyed customizing his car and did his own repairs after researching the internet.
Scott’s greatest joy in life was his son, Tristan. They were inseparable in Tristan’s pre-school years. He enjoyed their shooting hoops together and playing video games. Mostly, he would pass on fatherly advice, wanting the best for his son.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Russell and Helen Carter and his maternal grandparents Hollis and Selma Pantalion. Scott impacted many in his lifetime. His memory will stay alive in the hearts of his most loved son, Tristan, his parents Jim and Sandra Carter and his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Scott had a heart for those less fortunate. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Haven for Hope.
