Sara I. Elias

Sara I. Elias was born on July 29, 1929 and went to be with the Lord on April 11, 2015. Sara was a kind hearted person who would do anything for anyone in need. She had little but shared all she had. Her greatest pride was her children and family who were always around her. She grew up during the depression era so she knew what it was to do without. She was grateful for everything she had and anything anyone ever did for her. Whenever anyone would visit, she was quick to feed you if you were hungry. Tamales on Christmas Eve were a tradition at Sara’s home and no one would leave hungry or empty handed. Sara will leave a big void in this world to all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her husband Geronimo Elias, and daughter Irma Elias Lozano, Siblings Marta Gomez, Juan and Jose Ibarra. She is survived by her Siblings Paulita , Timoteo, Eliseo and Israel, Julia, Marie Esther, Lupe, Elizabeth, Juan Manuel Jr. and Efrain. Children, Margarita Ramirez (Armando), Guadalupe (Alicia), Geronimo Jr.(+Amelia), Juan (Olga), Luis (Patricia), Gerald (Leticia), Gilbert, Javier (Sandra) and numerous Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren. A visitation will begin on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at 5:00 pm at Trevino Funeral Home 2525 Palo Alto Rd. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. for 10:00 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at St. Clare Catholic Church with Interment to follow at First Memorial Burial Park.
