Santos G. Gonzales, age 72, passed away June 27, 2017 in San Antonio, TX. He was born on February 16, 1945 in Santa Rosa, TX to Santos & Epifania Gonzales. He was a proud U.S. Army Veteran and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend who will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Cruz Castillo
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Esperanza Gonzales; numerous children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren other family members.
Visitation will be 6 p.m., Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 4411 Moanna, San Antonio, TX 78218. Burial will follow at the Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery with Military Honors.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
