Samuel G. Cantu went to be with our Lord on April 26, 2011 at the age of 51. Samuel dedicated 20 years working for the Flower Bluff Independent School District in Corpus Christi, TX. He is survived by his parents Robert and Alice Cantu; brothers, Benjamin Cantu and wife Beatrice, Fred Cantu, David Cantu and wife Claudia; sister, Maria Cantu; nephews, Benjamin Cantu, Jr., Joe Devin Cantu; nieces, Di-Ella Cantu, Danielle Cantu, Bianca Norris; uncle, Alfred Cantu and wife Rosie; aunt, Yolanda Solis and husband Juan, and other extended family members. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Friday, April 29, 2011 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm that same evening. The Funeral Service will take place at the funeral home on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 9:00 am with Interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery III.
