Sadako Barbosa

Sadako Barbosa born on May 16, 1934 in Okinawa, Japan was called to be with the Lord on February 23, 2014 at the age of 79. She dedicated her life raising her family and enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Willie H. Barbosa; children: Kim (Ed) Lessard, Anita (Brad) Swenson, Mike (Mary) Barbosa, Edward (Claire) Barbosa, Sam (Cindy) Barbosa, Jim Barbosa and Lisa (Ray) Ochoa; also, 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday March 3, 2014 at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Procession will depart from the funeral home on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. for a 9:30 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Leonard’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
