Ruth Newlon Paulson, age 79, went to be with the Lord on August 5, 2012 in San Antonio, TX. She was born on February 5, 1933 in Grand Rapids, MI to Frederick & Daisy Bowers. She retired from nursing after 40 years. “Grandma Ruth” was her name to many and was members of the Lifebridge Christian Church (Schertz, TX), the Community Christian Church (New Braunfels, TX) & was a Charter Member of the Northeast Bible Evangelical Church. She was also a member of the Schertz Area Senior Center.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dale Robert Newlon; and daughter, Nancy Anne.
Ruth is survived by her husband, Lowell Paulson; 4 children, Joel Newlon, Star Newlon, Loreene Knouse & husband Steve, Dorothy Andreasen & husband Tony; 2 step-children, David Paulson and Shannon Hughs; 13 grandchildren, Asha Delisle, Diamond Knouse, Starr Knouse, Cheyenne Knouse, Steven Andreasen, Klara Andreasen, Aaron Paulson, Joseph Paulson, Joshua Paulson, Rachael Hughes, Justin Hughes, Katherine Hughes and Jennifer Hughes ; 4 great grandchildren.
