Rudy C. Valdez, age 67, of San Antonio, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, June 25, 2019. He was born October 27, 1951 to the late Hipolito and Emilia (Cevallos) Valdez in San Antonio, Texas.
He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and made his career as a civil servant.
He is preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Julia Sanchez, Olivia Longoria, Thomas Valdez, Raul C. Valdez, Juan Ramon Valdez, Sr., Jesus Valdez, Sr. and George Valdez.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Aurora V. Flores, Gilbert Cevallos Valdez, Minnie Valdez Guerra, Linda V. Lopez, Armando Valdez, Mary Jane Holguin and Arturo Valdez, Sr. He also is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Our Brother, Tio (Uncle) and Best Friend will be missed tremendously.
