Rudy Galdino Valdez Sr. passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at the age of 75. Born on April 18, 1946, he is preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert Valdez and Lucy Muraida Valdez; and his sister, Virginia Ponce.
Rudy is survived by his children, Viana Gros (Paul), Adolph C. Valdez (Judith), Rudy G. Valdez Jr. (Kentra), Andrew Valdez (Dominic) and Alexander Valdez (Felicia); his grandchildren, Isaac, Isaiah, Everlee, Nikalas, Noah, Uriah and Rylie; his siblings, Gilbert, Victor, Louis, Lucy, Kathy and Nelda; and his extended family and friends who loved him and will miss him greatly.
Family will be receiving friends for a Memorial Visitation at Trevino Funeral Home – 226 Cupples Road 78237 – on Sunday, December 12 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. On Wednesday, December 15, the service will meet at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery – 1520 Harry Wurzbach Road 78209 – for a Committal Service 9:15 AM at Shelter #2.
