She was preceded in death by her mother, Rubylea Chambless.
Rubylea is survived by loving husband, James Ray Hanson Jr.; 2 daughters, Sheryl Simon & husband Robert and Geri Chappell & husband Wesley; 3 grandchildren, Alexus Chappell, William Simon & Kaitlyn Chappell; 3 sisters and 1 brother.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m., Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home, San Antonio, TX. Funeral Service will be 12 noon, Thursday, November 17, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel.
There will be a private burial on Monday, November 21, 2011 at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, TX.
