Roy Lucio Moya, passed away in peace on Wednesday, September 25, 2019, at the age of 65. Roy is survived by his loving wife, dear friend, and companion, Socorro Moya, with whom he shared 44 years of marriage. Roy was a loving father to his children: Ely and Tracy Moya, Monica and Robert Martinez, and Andrew and Sandy Moya; and was the proud grandfather to Nicole, Eunice, Jeremy, Adrianna, Clarissa, Samara, Brandon, Eliana, Kadin and Scarlet. He is also survived by his sisters: Elena, Beatrice, Esther, and Gloria; and his brother Adolph. Also left behind to cherish his memory are his nieces, nephews, numerous extended relatives and friends. Roy will forever be remembered by his family and friends as a loving father, proud patriot, and dedicated United States Army Veteran who served his country from 1976 to 1981. He will dearly be missed by all who knew him. A memorial service will be on October 9, 2019 at Fort Sam National Cemetery at 10:00 a.m.
