Rosemary Sherman

Rosemary Sherman, age 90, of San Antonio, died Saturday, March 17, 2007. Mrs. Sherman was a graduate of the University of Kansas and was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority.

She was a registered nurse at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, MO. She was a member of the Woman's Club of San Antonio, Castle Hills Woman's Club, San Antonio Gardenia and Musical Club, Petroleum Club and Sonterra Country Club.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, William H. Sherman; parents, The Reverend and Mrs. Joseph P. Hoopingarner; sister, Jesse Marie Porter; and brothers, Dr. James L. Hoopingarner and Dr. William Hoopingarner.

She is survived by her son, Michael Sherman and wife, Susan, Dallas, TX; daughters, Carolyne Sherman Baker and husband, Oliver, Kansas City, and Rebecca Sherman Revel and husband, Keith, San Antonio, TX; grandchildren, Jane Hansen and husband, Rick, Austin, TX, Dory McGinnis and husband, Kevin, Ft. Worth, TX, Carrie Miller and husband, Chris, Dallas, TX, Michael Johnson, Dallas, TX; William Sherman Johnson, Sr., and wife, Sandy, San Antonio, TX, Lauren and Lindsey Revel, San Antonio, TX, Kevin Baker and wife, Molly, San Antonio, TX, Carey Baker and wife, Angela, Dallas, TX; great-grandchildren, Shelby and Hudson Hansen, Alexandria and Addison McGinnis, Jordan, Katy and Samuel Miller, Ashley and William Sherman Johnson, Jr., Brandon Baker, Dylan and Dakota Baker; dearest friend, Jackie Hamlin, McAllen, TX; loving friend and caregiver, Rhonda Sims; and numerous nieces and nephews.
