Rosemary Perez

Rosa Maria Perez was born on 4/23/1954 and gained her wings peacefully in her home on 1/20/2024. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Gilbert N. Perez. Together they had four children Mark Morales, Aisha K. Martinez, Nicole Perez, and Brandon E. Perez. They also had five grandchildren Delilah Morales, Marcus Morales, Sadie Perez, Eric Martinez, and Serenity Perez. Rosemary had two children in-laws who were, Rosendo Martinez and Celia Perez. Her surviving siblings were Ruby Magallanes, Virginia Muñoz, Ruben Muñoz, Javier Muñoz, and Paul Muñoz and had numerous nieces and nephews.

Rosemary worked as an attendance clerk at Cooper Middle School for 30 years. Many knew her as Rosie or Sunshine. She was known to light up the room as she walked in. Our Mother was a woman of God and the rock of our family! She was known for never forgetting anyone’s birthday or wedding anniversary. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a contagious smile. She will forever leave an imprint in our hearts. We love you Mom and will forever be missed! Until we meet again!

A visitation for Rosamaria will be held Wednesday, January 31, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, San Antonio, TX 78211 with a rosary being recited a 7:00 PM. A mass will be celebrated Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 10:30 AM at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, 1918 Palo Alto Rd, San Antonio, TX 78211 with interment to follow in San Fernando Cemetery #3, 1735 Cupples Rd, San Antonio, TX 78226.
