Rosemary was born February 27, 1956 in Tijuana, Mexico to Carlos Cruz Hernandez and Socorro Munoz Zarazua. She graduated from Theodore Roosevelt High School in San Antonio, Texas and later attended San Antonio College and St. Phillip's College. She enjoyed working at Goodwill Industries helping disadvantaged adults in the 80s. Rosemary and her late husband Faustino (Tino), owned a small pager and cell phone shop in the late 90s. She ran the family business as well as assisting him with his long time trucking career.
Rosemary dearly loved her husband Tino, her children, grandchildren and family. She enjoyed spending time and sharing stories with everyone in her family. She kept pictures of every family member in her cell phone photo gallery. Rosemary was very knowledgeable, skilled and talented. She enjoyed working with her hands and had such a creative imagination. If you asked, she could take your description and bring it to life. Her designs included crafts, decorating, baking, cooking, floral arrangements and much more. When her family needed custom decorations or a custom cake for a special occasion, holiday, or needed help with their special project, she would be there. The ideas and creations she had were limitless. In her passtime, she enjoyed watching Hallmark movies, the news (our personal news reporter), and remodeling shows. She was nicknamed "Hey Google" by her children because she always had an answer to their questions.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Faustino L. Gonzalez; her father Carlos C. Hernandez; and her step father, Alvino R. Zarazua; her brother, Jose Luis Hernandez: her twin granddaughters, Nicole and Destiny Gallegos. She is survived by her mother Socorro M. Zarazua; her siblings Jorge David Mendoza (Antonita), Carlos Hernandez (Rubie), Mariana Sutherland (Scott), Tony Hernandez (Yvonne), Linda Zarazua Gonzalez (Victor), Alvin Zarazua (Erica), and Albert Zarazua (Traci); her sons and daughters, Andrew Hernandez (Joyce), Michele Hernandez-Balero (Gabriel), Marguerita Gonzalez, Faustino H. Gonzalez (Iris), and Adrianne Gonzalez (Eric); her grandchildren, Chrisilda Torres, Angel Del la Rosa, Gianni and Siena Panelli, Abbigayle and Alyssa Hernandez, Jazmine and Elijah Gallegos, Jayden Gonzalez, Arianna Gonzalez, Ethyn Gonzalez, Lauren Balero, Kamilia Palacios; her 4 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed. We now have the sweetest guardian angel looking over us.
